About the role
We're looking for an exceptional Business Development Representative who will be the engine of our sales pipeline. You'll identify and qualify high-potential prospects, turning cold leads into warm opportunities for our sales team. As part of the top 1% of BDRs globally, you'll combine systematic prospecting with creative outreach to build relationships with decision-makers who need AI automation solutions.
This isn't your typical BDR role—you'll be working with cutting-edge AI tools to scale your impact, targeting businesses that are ready to transform their operations with AI automation.

Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation: Identify, research, and qualify high-value prospects across target industries and company sizes
Strategic Outreach: Create personalized, multi-touch campaigns that cut through the noise and generate genuine interest
Lead Qualification: Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs and determine fit for our AI automation platform
Opportunity Development: Set qualified meetings for our sales team with decision-makers ready to explore AI solutions
Market Intelligence: Gather insights on prospect pain points, competitive landscape, and market trends to inform our sales strategy
CRM Excellence: Maintain accurate prospect data and activity records to optimize team performance and forecasting within HubSpot
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align on messaging and ideal customer profiles
Innovation: Leverage AI tools and creative approaches to scale your prospecting impact beyond traditional BDR methods

Sales Excellence: Proven track record in outbound sales development, lead generation, or similar high-performance role
Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English with ability to engage C-level executives
Research Skills: Ability to quickly understand complex business challenges and identify how AI automation can provide solutions
Persistence with Purpose: Resilience to handle rejection while maintaining enthusiasm and systematic follow-up
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, sales automation tools, and AI-powered prospecting platforms
Results-Driven: Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding pipeline generation targets
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-starter who can create structure from ambiguity and optimize processes
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively while maintaining individual accountability for results
Nice to haves
Experience selling to mid-market
Background in SaaS, automation, or technology solutions
Understanding of AI applications in business processes
Experience with account-based marketing or sales approaches
Previous work in a high-growth startup environment
